I learned of this from Maria Droujkova at the Open Kollab list.<BR>

I also note that Dreamfish <a href="http://www.dreamfish.com">http://www.dreamfish.com</a> has made nice use of<BR>

open source Elgg.  What they have is not yet convincing to me though as<BR>

a social networking platform.<BR>

At this point, I'm skeptical of any social networking platform that<BR>

doesn't integrate in some smart way with activity on Facebook, Twitter,<BR>

etc.  I think there's a real need for a cultural code like I'm trying to<BR>

do with <a href="http://www.12questions.org">http://www.12questions.org</a> because I think online venues of<BR>

themselves aren't enough to foster a culture.<BR>
